Calculator inputs

KaroDesk's free calculators run locally in your browser and don't require an account. The amounts, rates and quantities you type into a calculator are never transmitted to us and are never stored. Closing the tab clears them.

Accounts and invoicing data

Using the invoicing dashboard requires a free account, created with your name, email address and a password. Once you're signed in, the invoices, invoice line items and customer details you add are stored on our servers so you can come back to them later. You can delete individual invoices and customers from within your account at any time; to delete your account and all associated data, email us at hello@karodesk.com.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to record anonymous, aggregate usage events (for example that a GST calculation was completed or a result was copied) so we know which tools to improve. These events contain no personal information and none of your entered calculator values. Analytics only runs if you've accepted analytics cookies: see "Your cookie choices" below.

Advertising

Some free pages (calculators, guides and blog articles, never your signed-in dashboard, invoices, customers or business profile) may show ads served by Google AdSense. AdSense and its partners may use cookies to serve ads, limit repeat ads and measure performance, and (only if you've accepted advertising cookies) to personalize ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Your cookie choices

Cookies that are strictly necessary (for example, keeping you signed in) are always on, since the product can't work without them. Analytics and advertising cookies are off by default and only turn on if you choose "Accept All" or enable them individually in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of every page, including turning previously accepted cookies back off.

Your rights

Wherever you're located, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent for analytics/advertising cookies at any time (see above).
